Relay for Life: Cancer Charity Walk 2020

On May 16, 2020, we will proudly participate in our 17th year as a sponsor for the Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society at Colton High School, Although local branches often participate in events in their local communities, for Mountain West Financial, it’s the one cause where the entire company particpates. Last year the time, energy, dedication and hard work resuled in raising nearly $5,000 for the event; this year we hope to achieve our goal of over $5,000. We want to thank our staff, family, friends and valued business partners for fundraising including corporate jean days, bake sales, etc. for donations year round. The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life is a life-changing event that helps our community celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease. During this 24 hour event, our team has at least one member on the tract the entire time and there are specific activities such as the survivor’s lap, luminaria ceremony and the fight back ceremony to show the emotional commitment each team has in the fight against cancer.
